About Us

Located in Orange County, Virginia among the historical battlefields of the Civil War, is Woodlynne Farm, encompassing 110 acres of lush pastures, trees and ponds. We are centrally located just 1 ½ hours from either Washington D.C. or Richmond, VA.

We have recently completed renovation of the c. 1860 farm house. Employing the architectural style and workmanship of that era has been a daunting task but well worth the two years the project spanned.

Woodlynne Farm is also home to our six horses who gallop through their 30 acre field and graze on the lush pastures:  an appaloosa named Dusty, a thoroughbred named Okie and 4 beautiful quarter horses:  Roy, Cutter, Annie and Lacey.

In addition, there are three beloved resident llamas who keep our alpacas safe. Eventhough a 400-lb. llama is a bit different to handle than an alpaca, they are gentle natured and thecrias treat them as “father figures”.

Jake, the resident Chesapeake Bay Retriever, is constantly on the move to ensure nothing is on his property that shouldn’t be.

And the six cats enjoy the “hunt”.
